Basketball Recap: Hilmar Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Aaron Solorio and Carter Fruth + How To Watch

Hilmar lost against Turlock back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Yellowjackets received a blow as they fell 67-50 to the Bulldogs. The loss put an end to the Yellowjackets' undefeated start to the season.

Carter Fruth and Aaron Solorio certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Fruth went 5-for-8 to rack up 14 points, while Solorio shot 50% from the field on his way to 15 points along with seven boards and three blocks. Solorio's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hilmar fell to 2-1. As for Turlock, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Hilmar won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Stone Ridge Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Turlock, they will face off against Cosumnes Oaks at 7:30 p.m. on the 9th.
