Baseball Game Preview: Bogue Chitto Bobcats vs. Raleigh Lions

The Bogue Chitto Bobcats will take on the Raleigh Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bogue Chitto is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Bogue Chitto had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Enterprise put an end to it on Saturday. The Bobcats came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 8-2. The Bobcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Bogue Chitto saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tucker Kyzar, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Meanwhile, Raleigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of Mendenhall.

Deuce Carter was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base. Tanner Middleton was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Raleigh's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Bogue Chitto, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal.
