While Washburn put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Volunteer. The Pirates walked away with a 5-0 win over the Falcons. Winning may never get old, but the Pirates sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Washburn's victory bumped their record up to 12-8-1. As for Volunteer, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washburn will welcome Maryville Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight. As for Volunteer, they will be playing at home against West Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
