After flying high against the Northeast Eagles last Tuesday, the Clarksville Wildcats came back down to earth. Clarksville took a serious blow against Rossview on Friday, falling 70-33. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Clarksville has scored all season.

When it comes to explaining why Clarksville lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kellen J howard. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points.

Rossview got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Landon Hankemeier out in front who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jiyair Rose, who scored 17 points along with two steals and two blocks.

Clarksville's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Rossview, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-9.

Clarksville is on the road again on Tuesday and plays Springfield at 6:00 p.m. on February 20th. Clarksville is facing Springfield at the right time seeing as Springfield is stuck on a six-game losing streak. Rossview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
