Softball Preview: South Sevier Rams vs. Kanab Cowboys
South Sevier is a perfect 3-0 against Kanab since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Rams will host the Cowboys at 3:30 p.m. South Sevier will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.
South Sevier proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 22) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Beaver 3-2. The game was the first time the Rams have beaten the Beavers on their field since April 22, 2015.

Kloe Donohue was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. Kanab got a massive performance out of Gracie Jensen, who scored four runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Janes, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 4-for-5.
South Sevier's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Kanab, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 3-11.
