Volleyball Recap: Princeton Tigers vs. St. Albans Red Dragons
Princeton was the 2-1 winner over St. Albans when they last played one another back in September of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Dragons on Tuesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Albans to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ellah Smith, who had four digs, two aces, and one block.
Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for St. Albans, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.
Coincidentally, Princeton and St. Albans will both be playing Woodrow Wilson the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Flying Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Red Dragons will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
