Basketball Game Preview: Bolton Central Eagles vs. Chazy Eagles

Bolton Central and Chazy are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. One thing working in Bolton Central's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 14 matches.

Bolton Central will bounce into Friday's game after beating Crown Point, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Bolton Central enjoyed a cozy 73-55 win over Crown Point last Monday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 230th, while the Panthers are ranked 708th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bolton Central got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was William Hens out in front who posted 20 points. Those 20 points gave Hens a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Egloff, who scored 16 points.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Chazy had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 52-45. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Bolton Central pushed their record up to 18-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Chazy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-10.

Everything came up roses for Bolton Central against Chazy when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 70-33 win. In that contest, Bolton Central amassed a halftime lead of 41-16, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
