Volleyball Recap: Menomonee Falls Snags Sixth Win in Last Seven Games

Westosha Central typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Menomonee Falls proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Falcons. The Phoenix were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Falcons, so the Phoenix were just returning the favor.

Menomonee Falls easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-10.

Sam Barkimer paced Menomonee Falls' offense, picking up nine kills. Barkimer got some help from Ben Kuhn and his 11 assists. Finally, Dylan Buettner kept Menomonee Falls' defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Menomonee Falls has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season. As for Westosha Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-4.
