Volleyball Recap: Clark Fork Comes Up Short on the Road Against Lakeside

Clark Fork had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Lakeside Knights by a score of 3-2. The Wampus Cats haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Clark Fork actually scored more points across those five sets (108-96), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-22, 25-23, 11-25, 15-13.

Aurora Lane paced Clark Fork's offense, picking up 11 kills. Lane got some help from Kiylah Anderson and her 34 assists. Lane was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 14 aces.

Clark Fork will square off against Timberlake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lakeside, they will challenge Coeur du Christ Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
