Recap: George County Rebels vs. East Central Hornets
There's no place like home for the George County Rebels, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 58-45 victory over East Central on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as George County also won the last time the pair played last Tuesday.
When it comes to explaining why East Central lost, one person who can't be blamed is Cartavious Myers. Despite the final result, he scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Howard, who scored 9 points.
George County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 3-6 record this season. As for East Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
George County will head out on the road to face off against Stone at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stone will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. As for East Central, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pearl River Central at 7:00 p.m.
