Baseball Recap: College Park Falcons vs. Acalanes Dons

It was a good run, but College Park unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Acalanes Dons by a score of 4-3. Even though they lost, College Park kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Acalanes only hit five.

At the plate, Acalanes let Mason Zirkel and Keegan Goddard loose on the outfield. Zirkel scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Goddard scored a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Ando Butner was another key contributor, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and a double.

College Park's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Acalanes, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-0.
