Softball Recap: Trinity Christian Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian lost against Southwest Christian School on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Trinity Christian came up short against Southwest Christian School, falling 13-2. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trinity Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Bates, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Bates also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Southwest Christian School, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will take on Ira at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Southwest Christian School, they will challenge All S at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Southwest Christian School's pitchers better be ready for this one: All S has averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
