Basketball Recap: Freeman Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

Freeman extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from David Walter. The Freeman Flyers blew past the Corsica/Stickney Jaguars, posting a 63-36 win thanks in part to Walter, who went 8-for-11 to rack up 22 points and seven rebounds. What's more, he also posted a 73% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Tate Sorensen, who posted 11 points and six boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 60% in the last five games he's played.

Freeman's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Corsica/Stickney, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Freeman has already played their next contest, a 68-56 defeat against St. Mary on the 15th. As for Corsica/Stickney, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 49-36 loss against Gregory on the 15th.
