While Crossroads's win against Viewpoint wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Roadrunners won by a set and slipped past the Patriots 3-2. The Roadrunners haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Crossroads had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 17-25, 25-20, 25-16, 15-10.

Crossroads' win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Viewpoint, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Crossroads will head out to take on Palos Verdes at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Viewpoint, they will venture away from home to challenge Calabasas at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
