Basketball Game Preview: Madison Plains Golden Eagles vs. Fairbanks Panthers

Having just played yesterday, the Madison Plains Golden Eagles will get right back to it and host the Fairbanks Panthers at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Madison Plains will be strutting in after a win while Fairbanks will be coming in after a defeat.

Madison Plains is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They snuck past Washington with a 70-64 victory on Friday.

Meanwhile, Fairbanks came up short against Centerburg on Wednesday and fell 59-46. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 405th, while the Trojans are ranked 143rd).

This is the second loss in a row for Fairbanks and nudges their season record down to 11-10. As for Madison Plains, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.
