Basketball Recap: Fresno Comes Up Short

Fresno lost against Sanger back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Fresno Warriors fell just short of the Sanger Apaches by a score of 48-46. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 648th, while the Apaches are ranked 200th).

Fresno now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Sanger, their record is now 16-8.

Fresno will look to defend their home court on Friday against Roosevelt at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Roosevelt's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 14 matches. As for Sanger, they will venture away from home to challenge Edison at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Edison has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 193 points over their last three contests.
