Football Recap: Scottsbluff's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After soaring to 56 points the game before, Scottsbluff was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They took a 14-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seward Bluejays. If the Bearcats were looking for revenge after losing 28-27 to the Bluejays when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Nate Kelley threw for 67 yards on six of 13 attempts. George Schmall was his top target, picking up 36 receiving yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Scottsbluff fell to 3-1. As for Seward, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Scottsbluff didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-7 victory against Lexington on the 26th. As for Seward, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 28-17 win against Lincoln Northwest on the 26th.
