Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Page walked away with it. They snuck past the Tuba City Warriors with a 46-41 win on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Sand Devils: when they faced off against the Warriors two weeks ago, they had to take a 53-41 defeat.

Tuba City's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Natasha Acothley, who posted nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Acothley is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Begaye, who had eight points and eight boards.

Page has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.4 points over those games. Tuba City's defeat dropped their record down to 18-12.

Coming up, Page will head out to challenge Phoenix Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on March 1st. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Phoenix Country Day sitting on eight straight victories and Page on three. Tuba City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
