Berks Catholic waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Brandywine Heights Area Bullets. The result was nothing new for the Blue Jays, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Mason Mace made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Henry Pflomm, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Victor Mejia was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Berks Catholic always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Berks Catholic's record is now 10-4. As for Brandywine Heights Area, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11.
