Argyle waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victor by a 58-34 margin over the Grapevine Mustangs. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 159th, while the Mustangs are ranked 472nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Argyle pushed their record up to 17-16 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points over those games. As for Grapevine, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-21.
