Basketball Recap: Kei Scott Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Flower Mound

It was a proper cat-fight when Grace Prep faced off against Flower Mound on Saturday. The Lions strolled past the Jaguars with points to spare, taking the game 75-59. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Grace Prep's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kei Scott, who went 9-for-11 to rack up 21 points. Thanks to that strong game, Scott now owns an excellent 46.7% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Mj Boyd, who shot 83% from the field en route to 14 points and five assists.

Grace Prep's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Flower Mound, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Grace Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 55-45 victory against Centennial on the 15th. As for Flower Mound, they have also already played their next contest, a 62-57 win against Arlington Heights on the 18th.
