Le Roy extended their winning streak to six on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 18-3 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Wayland-Cohocton Eagles. Three seems to be a good number for the Oatkan Knights as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

As for Wayland-Cohocton, their loss dropped their record down to 16-6. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Wayland-Cohocton's part, Matt Clark spent all 7.1 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits. Clark has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Wayland-Cohocton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayden Wolfanger, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
