Soccer Game Preview: Victoria Soto vs. Juarez

For the first time this season, Victoria Soto will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Thursday. They will venture away from home to face off against the Juarez Eagles at 4:30 p.m.

Victoria Soto is headed out to face Juarez after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Victoria Soto blew past Kelly 3-0 on Tuesday.

Emely Cruz and Ariana Chavez scored all three of Victoria Soto's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, Juarez's season-opener on Tuesday wasn't quite what the team was looking for considering the end result. Neither they nor Proviso West could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Victoria Soto skirted past Juarez 2-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Victoria Soto since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
