Basketball Game Preview: Aurora Central Catholic Chargers vs. Fenwick Friars

The Aurora Central Catholic Chargers will venture away from home to face off against the Fenwick Friars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, Aurora Central Catholic ended up a good deal behind Providence-St. Mel and lost 52-36.

Meanwhile, Fenwick was able to grind out a solid win over Leo on Friday, taking the game 50-42. Given the Friars' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Lions are ranked 163rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fenwick's record now sits at 15-6. As for Aurora Central Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.

Aurora Central Catholic might still be hurting after the 57-36 defeat they got from Fenwick in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Aurora Central Catholic avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
