Softball Recap: Upper St. Clair Takes a Loss

Upper St. Clair's last matchup with Montour could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Monday. The Panthers came up short against the Spartans, falling 11-4. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Upper St. Clair now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Montour, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Upper St. Clair will welcome West Allegheny at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Montour, they will head out on the road to square off against South Fayette at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
