Basketball Recap: Parsons Victorious

Parsons won against Fort Scott last Tuesday with 64 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Parsons Vikings managed a 64-60 victory over the Labette County Grizzlies. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Grizzlies, too.

The win made it two in a row for Parsons and bumps their season record up to 3-2-1. As for Labette County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Parsons will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Field Kindley on January 10, 2025. After both having extra time off, Labette County and Chanute will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
