Basketball Recap: North Forsyth's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

North Forsyth extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Jylyia Mizell. The North Forsyth Vikings blew past the Walkertown Wolfpack 54-22 on Monday thanks in part to Mizell, who posted 23 points along with seven boards and five steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of North Forsyth's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ariel Odugba, who earned eight points in addition to 12 rebounds and six steals. She is becoming a predictor of North Forsyth's success: when she posts at least ten boards the team is 9-1 (and 5-6 when she doesn't).

North Forsyth's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points over those games. As for Walkertown, they are on a 32-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

North Forsyth has already played their next game, a 35-31 win against West Stokes on the 18th. Walkertown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
