Bob Jones is a perfect 4-0 against Auburn since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Patriots will square off against the Tigers at 10:15 a.m.

Bob Jones heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Thursday. They fell just short of Austin by a score of 3-2.

Bob Jones took Austin into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 26-28, 22-25, 15-9.

Despite the loss, Bob Jones saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kat Dimitri had four digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Dimitri.

Meanwhile, Auburn got the win against Opelika on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Auburn took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-5, 25-10.

Bob Jones' defeat dropped their record down to 38-15. As for Auburn, their win bumped their record up to 25-13.

Bob Jones was able to grind out a solid victory over Auburn in their previous matchup on October 3rd, winning 2-0. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
