Volleyball Recap: Southeastern Local Takes a Loss

Southeastern Local came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Madison Plains Golden Eagles. The Trojans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Golden Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-5, 25-12.

Hannah O'Laughlin paced Southeastern Local's offense, picking up three kills. O'Laughlin got some help from Avery Stout and her four assists.

Among those leading the charge was Alyssia Mullins, who had eight digs and two assists.

With the loss, Southeastern Local broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2. As for Madison Plains, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Southeastern Local wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Cedarville on the 28th. As for Madison Plains, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Shawnee on the 27th.
