After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Miami, Braddock was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Ransom Everglades Raiders 3-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Braddock took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-13, 25-12.

Braddock's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Adrian Martin led the charge by getting four digs and two aces. Martin has been hot recently, having also posted 18 or more assists the last three times he's played. Daniel Fleitas was another key player, getting ten digs and one assist.

Braddock couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 40.2% of their attack attempts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hitting percentage total in four consecutive matchups.

Braddock's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Ransom Everglades, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Braddock will challenge Ferguson at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Ransom Everglades, they will venture away from home to take on Homestead at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Broncos will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
