Basketball Recap: Paxton-Buckley-Loda Takes a Loss

Paxton-Buckley-Loda lost against Cissna Park back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers took a 54-36 bruising from the Cissna Park Timberwolves. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 597th, while the Timberwolves are ranked 144th).

Paxton-Buckley-Loda has also been struggling recently as they've lost 16 of their last 18 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-25 record this season. As for Cissna Park, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-5.

Coming up, Paxton-Buckley-Loda will be playing at home against St. Joseph-Ogden at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cissna Park, they and Schlarman will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
