Baseball Recap: Victor Valley Takes a Loss

Victor Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 14-2 to the Sultana Sultans. If the Jackrabbits were looking for revenge after losing 11-0 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Victor Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Robert Middlebrooks, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Victor Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sultana, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Victor Valley will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Knight at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sultana, they will venture away from home to square off against Claremont at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Sultana's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
