Soccer Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Katy

Katy and Tompkins pushed the score to 5-3 the last time they played Tompkins, but on Wednesday defenses reigned supreme. The Tigers never let the Falcons get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Katy's winning goal came courtesy of Anthony Ayodele.

The win (which was Katy's third in a row) raised their record to 5-6-3. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Tompkins, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4-3.
