Baseball Recap: Port of Los Angeles' Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Port of Los Angeles lost to King/Drew back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Polar Bears came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of 8-4. Winning may never get old, but the Polar Bears sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The team relied heavily on Ethan Vasquez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. He also brought in three RBI, which is notable because Port of Los Angeles is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 5-6 otherwise. Damian Ochoa was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Port of Los Angeles' record is now 8-6. As for King/Drew, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 9-3 record.
