Sumner-Fredericksburg waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 56-42 victory over the Clarksville Indians. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 146th, while the Indians are ranked 332nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sumner-Fredericksburg's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Clarksville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.
