Softball Recap: Washington Huskies vs. American Eagles

Washington had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the American Eagles with a sharp 12-2 victory. With that win, Washington brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Makenna Stevens was incredible, going 2-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and a double. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Rainer, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for American, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-19.
