Volleyball Recap: Anahuac Comes Up Short

Anahuac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Harker Heights Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Brogan May paced Anahuac's offense, picking up three kills. May got some help from Sky Hedges and her six assists.

Anahuac's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Harker Heights, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-10.

Coincidentally, Anahuac and Harker Heights will both be playing Liberty the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Panthers at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Knights will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
