Volleyball Recap: Northside Comes Up Short

Northside managed to slip by Breaux Bridge the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Tigers on Thursday.

Northside's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Breaux Bridge, with the victory, they broke their seven-match losing streak and moved their record to 9-12.

Northside and Breaux Bridge could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings. The Vikings will face off against St. Martinville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (259 vs. 88). Meanwhile, Breaux Bridge (ranked 144th) will meet St. Thomas More (ranked fourth) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
