Basketball Recap: Piedmont Highlanders vs. St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Piedmont can now relate to. They took a 75-70 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (60), the Highlanders still had to take the loss.
St. Patrick-St. Vincent's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christian Trusclair, who went 7-for-17 en route to 19 points. That's the most points Trusclair has posted since back in February of 2024. Isaiah Wilson was another key player, dropping a double-double with 20 points and 12 boards.
