Baseball Game Preview: La Grange Leopards vs. Sealy Tigers

For the second straight game, La Grange will face off against Sealy. The Leopards will face off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. La Grange's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Sealy's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

La Grange heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Thursday. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sealy. The Leopards have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

For Sealy's part, Hagen Anderson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Anderson was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

In other pitching news, Alex Gutierrez looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

Back at the plate, Sealy let Weston Cryan and Romeo Castillo run wild. Cryan went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs, while Castillo went 3-for-5 with three runs and one stolen base.

The victory got Sealy back to even at 14-14. As for La Grange, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.
