Recap: Stratford Bulldogs vs. Dibble Demons
After a string of four wins, The Stratford Bulldogs''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were the victim of a rough 40-20 loss at the hands of Dibble. Stratford was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Dibble apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Dibble's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jag Norman, who rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns. Norman is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last eight games he's played. Austin Maddox was another key contributor, picking up 137 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Stratford's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Dibble, their win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-2.
Stratford will challenge Rush Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oklahoma (Rush Springs is ranked 246th, while Stratford is ranked 236th). As for Dibble, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wayne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wayne is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
