Volleyball Recap: Analy Tigers vs. International Jaguars
It was a proper cat-fight when Analy faced off against International on Saturday. The Analy Tigers fell just short of the International Jaguars by a score of 2-1.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Analy sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 28-30, 17-15.
Magnus Niedermair paced Analy's offense, picking up 16 kills. Niedermair got some help from Bryce Williams and his 13 assists. Jorge Salgado-Vegas and Jose Zapien Gomez kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
Analy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for International, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-3.
Analy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Alameda on the 1st. International has also already played their next contest (against The Bay School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
