Volleyball Game Preview: Culver Academies Eagles vs. North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays

The Culver Academies Eagles will challenge the North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Culver Academies had won two straight games and Barrett Brady did her part to make it three on Tuesday. Culver Academies blew past South Bend Adams 3-0 thanks in part to Brady, who had five aces and four digs. She has been hot, having also posted 12 or more assists the last six times she's played.

While Culver Academies won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 28-26.

Meanwhile, North Judson-San Pierre made easy work of Knox on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bluejays in their matchups with the Redskins: they've now won four in a row.

One reason for the win was North Judson-San Pierre's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-14.

Culver Academies' win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for North Judson-San Pierre, their victory bumped their record up to 13-14.

Culver Academies took their win against North Judson-San Pierre in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
