Basketball Recap: South Christian Makes It Eight in a Row on the Road

South Christian won the last time they faced West Catholic and things went their way on Friday too. The South Christian Sailors took down the West Catholic Falcons 50-35. Given the Sailors' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 36th, while the Falcons are ranked 369th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

South Christian's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points over those games. As for West Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

South Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 58-46 victory against Belleville on the 8th. As for West Catholic, they will head out to face off against Northview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
