Soccer Recap: St. Mary's Academy Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for St. Mary's Academy's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thomas Jefferson Spartans on Tuesday. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Mary's Academy fell to 2-1. As for Thomas Jefferson, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

St. Mary's Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Peak to Peak at 6:00 p.m. on April 1st. Peak to Peak will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something St. Mary's Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Thomas Jefferson also won't see the pitch for a while: their next match is against George Washington at 6:00 p.m. on April 3rd.
