While Belen's victory against Capital wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Jaguars 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Belen wouldn't go down easily and took Capital into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-23, 25-23, 17-25, 15-8.

Belen's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Capital, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Belen will take on Socorro at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Capital, they will head out to take on Rio Rancho at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
