            Volleyball Recap: East Union Lancers vs. Central Catholic Raiders        
        
		
        
        
            East Union came into Friday's   match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Central Catholic Raiders 3-0 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-0  back in March.
 East Union was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18,  25-10.

Among those leading the charge was   Keenan Yang, who  had eight  digs and three  aces. Those  three  aces gave  him a new career-high.
 East Union  couldn't miss and  finished the game having scored on 50.9% of their attack attempts. That's the best  hitting percentage they've posted all season.
The  victory  got East Union back to even at 8-8. As for Central Catholic,  they are  on  a  26-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. East Union is set to  take on  their familiar foe Oakdale  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Central Catholic will  square off against  rival Manteca  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
