Softball Recap: Raleigh-Egypt Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Raleigh-Egypt's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Brighton Cardinals, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Pharaohs haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Raleigh-Egypt's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Brighton, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Raleigh-Egypt will head out to take on Millington Central at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brighton, they will venture away from home to challenge Houston at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
