Softball Recap: Wauseon's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Wauseon hadn't done well against Tinora recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Indians walked away with an 11-6 win over the Rams. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Bella McGuire was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. She is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Aubrianna Everly, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Wauseon always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tinora only posted an OBP of .324.

The win got Wauseon back to even at 5-5. As for Tinora, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wauseon will host Evergreen at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tinora, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Paulding at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
