Soccer Recap: Austin Gets the Win

After low-scoring totals in their previous seven contests, Austin brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Fabens Wildcats on Wednesday. Considering the Panthers' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Austin's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-5-1. As for Fabens, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Austin wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 6-0 defeat against Ysleta on the 24th. Fabens has also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Clint on the 24th.
